- Brisbane 7s Runner up Bowl. Beat Wales in the pool matches.
- Tokyo 7s, Beat South Africa in Pool rounds to went through to the Cup quarter finals lost to NZ.
- 1998 Morobe Hammerheads sharks won plate Singapore sevens.
